Sadly our September and October meetings have been abandoned due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the fact that the Canterbury masonic centre remains closed, as do all of the other masonic centres within easy travelling distance.
With our November meeting on the 5th approaching, the secretary has been informed that the Canterbury Centre will be able to accommodate a meeting if the ‘rule of six’ is adhered to. This being so our November meeting can go ahead and a summons has been issued.
At such a meeting, we would be required to follow the ‘rule of six’, (5 brethren make the meeting quorum), assuming that this area’s Covid numbers remain similar and we remain in tier one, medium risk. The Director of Ceremonies will be contacting brethren required to attend.
We are still planning to hold a virtual White Table meeting in December using Zoom, with a non masonic talk.
